Sweet Stuff

from Sweet Stuff by Sweet Willie Milton

about

Also from the "Bawdy Language" album.

I actually came up with the title and concept of the album, "Sweet Stuff" first. Then developed the idea for the song itself . . . a "love song" of sorts, for music, and even for my guitar specifically!

lyrics

SWEET STUFF

I don't need
No fancy cars
Don't need no mansion on the hill

I got all
A man could want
Even when I can't pay my bills

I get a hold of my "Sweet Stuff"
Fills me up with that good love
I get a hold of my "Sweet Stuff"
And start to feelin' good

When I'm down
She lifts me up
Gives me what I'm lookin' for

Somehow she knows
What I need
When the blues come knockin' at my door

I get a hold of my "Sweet Stuff"
Fills me up with that good love
I get a hold of my "Sweet Stuff"
And start to feelin' good

When I move
Up and down her neck
She responds in ecstasy

Sometimes it seems
Almost as good as sex
What my music does for me

I get a hold of my "Sweet Stuff"
Fills me up with that good love
I get a hold of my "Sweet Stuff"
And start to feelin' good
