Grandmother's Eyes

from the Family Album by Jeffrey Scott Stewart

Written for my grandmother (by me and Carmen Melton Taylor) and the first video version was delivered to her for her 90th birthday.

Grandmother's eyes
Loving and wise
I know she watches me
I hope she likes what she sees

When I was young
Grandma was fun
She was there for me then
And she's still a good friend

I always find
Sweet love in my grandmother's eyes

When I'm over my head
Filled with regret
I can hear what she'd say
To make me feel okay . . . okay

I always find
Sweet love in my grandmother's eyes
I hope I can
be all I am in grandmother's eyes
