Traces Of Your Heart

from The Poison And The Cure by WispR

/

about

This track will be re-recorded before possibly being added to the finished version of "The Poison And The Cure" album. Very Early recording . . . very rough . . . made on an old cassette four-track. Needs to be sped up . . . yikes . . . the fade-in and fade-out intro and exit are kind of interesting though . . . SONG is from the late '70s or early '80s. Recording from late '80s.

lyrics

TRACES OF YOUR HEART

Time after time
I get the feeling that there's more behind your eyes
More than you will let me see

(I) I have to wonder
Will we ever really know each other's minds
Or will we have to make believe

And I think I'm seein' traces of your heart
I'm tryin' hard to understand
I think I'm seein' traces of your heart
-- I think I am

Now and again
When we're together I catch whispers in the air
Still, I don't know what they mean

And I think I'm seein' traces of your heart
I'm tryin' hard to understand
I think I'm seein' traces of your heart
-- I think I am
